What is a busbar? And determine ampere according to size?

A busbar is a type of copper or aluminum conductive sheet or rod that collects and distributes electrical energy from one or more circuits.

How many thick copper bars are aggregated in the busbar,

A copper bar is rectangular (rectangular) or copper type or triangular in shape. On one side the supply terminal has a nut bolt arrangement for firm connection and on the other side there is a necessary arrangement for connecting the supply to various loads. Usually 4 busbar system is done for 3 phase, 3 phase, and another neutral bar.

Busbar and Calculation

Two types of switches are generally used in busbar management.

One is circuit breaker and other is isolator.

Usage of Busbar:

1- Constant supply (Cotinunty of supply) Even if one of the systems is shut down, the rest of the system is used to run the system.

2- Maintenance (Maintenance or repair): Without shutting down the entire system for maintenance, maintenance work can be done on one part of the bus bar.

3- Isolation. If a fault occurs in any part of the system, that part can be separated from the healthy system by means of a bus bar.

Note:

For three phase there are four bars out of which there are three phases and one neutral. And written for single phase.

25.4MM*6.5MM = 200A/250A

30MM*10MM =400A

40MM*10MM = 600A
