Electrical wiring is the arrangement of wires according to rules to supply electricity to a place.

Electrical Wiring can generally be divided into three parts.
1. Internal wiring
2. Overhead wiring
3. Underground wiring.
But before doing any wiring we have to take care of few things and that is:-
a) Wiring should be durable and strong.
b) Wiring must be completely safe so that no human or animal gets shocked.
c) Wire, needle, fuse, main switch, circuit breaker etc. should be of suitable current carrying capacity.

D) The position of Light, Fan etc. should be kept in proper place.
e) There must be proper earthing system.
f) Wiring should be neat and tidy.

Casein (Casing) wiring.
Conduit wiring.

1. Cleat Wiring:-
This type of wiring can be done at very low cost. This wiring is usually used for temporary work. In this wiring PVC wire or simply porcelain is passed over several cleats. The cleat has two parts, top and bottom. Two or three grooved floor sections are screwed to the wall with royal plugs. The upper part is screwed onto it by laying the wire or cable over the groove of the floor part.

Internal or Inside Wiring: The wiring done inside the house is called internal wiring. This wiring is mainly of two types namely
1. Concealed wiring
2. Open wiring:
1. Concealed wiring: is the wiring that is done inside the wall This wiring is done through pipes This should be done while building the house And open or surface wiring is the wiring that is done with the help of channels or pipes on the walls of the house
2. External or Outside Wiring: The wiring done outside the house is called external or outside wiring This wiring is done to take the electricity from the main electricity pole to the house meter.
